The following step-by-step guide demonstrates how to install apps on iPhone or iPad along with corresponding app settings and documents via CopyTrans Apps and CopyTrans Shelbee.
Apr 14, 2016 In this post, I’ll try to share different options for you to download files to iPhone or iPad. Where to download files to on an iPhone or iPad As mentioned above, there is no easily accessible file system on iOS, which means we can’t just download files. Download and Install TeaTV on iPad / iPhone: The TeaTV App for iOS needs to be injected into iOS devices using the Cydia Impactor tool. So, first of all, you need Teatv iOS file, i.e TeaTv ipa on your PC. Then follow this guide given below. Download the TeaTV IPA file.
The methods are independent of iTunes and iCloud which allows full control over what apps and app preferences to install on the iPhone. It comes in handy when transferring apps of your choice from one iOS device to another.
How do you install an app on an iOS device? For iOS 9, 10, 11, and 12
Download CopyTrans Shelbee from the following page: Download CopyTrans Shelbee
Install the program. If you need help installing CopyTrans Shelbee, follow the installation guide.
Start CopyTrans Shelbee and connect the iPhone via the USB cable. Click “Custom restore”.
Adam khoo strategy. Select the backup you wish to install the apps from.
If you don’t have the backup of your iPhone, here’s how to make a backup.
If your iPhone is not encrypted, it’s recommended that you encrypt it with a password, so the data like app logins is transferred over:
Next, please log in to iTunes Store with your Apple ID. You can skip this step, but it’s recommended you don’t because if some of the apps can’t be restored from the backup, CopyTrans Shelbee will download it from the iTunes Store directly.
Select the apps you wish to install on your iPhone and click Next.
Please note that the data you selected will be overwritten on the new device. For example, if you want to restore contacts from backup, the contacts on the device you are restoring to will be overwritten with the ones in the backup.
Now CopyTrans Shelbee will ask you to choose where you want to save the backup of your device in case something goes wrong during Custom restore. Select the destination and click “Start”.
Wait until the process finishes.
The process is finished, congrats! If some of the apps didn’t download automatically, you can redownload them manually from the App Store. All your app data like settings, game scores, etc. will be saved.

Install the program. If you need help installing CopyTrans Apps, please refer to the installation guide.
Start CopyTrans Apps and connect the iPhone. The program lists the currently installed iPhone apps on the left side of the window:
Click on the “Install apps” button on top:
Navigate to the location where you previously backed up iOS applications, select one or multiple files and click “Open”:
NOTE: If you previously used CopyTrans Apps to back up iOS apps and app preferences as described here, select the corresponding IPA backup files.
In the same way, you can install apps to iPhone via using the IPA files located in, for example, your iTunes “Mobile Applications” folder.From the popup, click “OK”
TIP: Clicking on the “Options” symbol allows you to control what app components are installed on the iPhone such as app documents or only the application file.
The apps of your choice along with their app preferences and documents appear on the iPhone.
Alternative method of installing apps on an iPhone: for iOS 8 and earlier
This is how to install selected apps complete with app settings and documents on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

Method # 1 – Using iTunes.
iTunes too provides a functionality to directly install ipa Apps on your device. Perform the following steps to install ipa apps through iTunes –Connect your Phone to computer and launch iTunes.
Drag the app’s .ipa file into iTunes library.
Click on Sync and done, that’s it . If the app was earlier backed up from the same device, it would be installed without any fuss.
Method # 2 – iFunbox
iFunbox is yet another easy method to install ipa files/apps on your iPhone. Perform the following steps to install Apps on your iPad/iPhone through ifunbox –
Download and install ifunbox from i-funbox.com if not already installed.
Launch iFunbox and connect your iPhone/iPad/iPod.
Now navigate to the File Browser tab as shown in the figure and select “User Applications” (Highlighted in the same figure).
Now click on “Install App” button, select the ipa or apmx file of app which you want to install and click on Open!
Yo! The app will be installed successfully.
Method # 3 Online Method : Diawi
Diawi is a tool for iOS developers to deploy Development and Ad hoc iOS applications or install them directly to the device. Here are the steps to follow to install apps through Diawi –
0. Open Diawi.com .
1. Upload the application and its provisioning profile.
2. Send the link to your testers, clients, friends or even use it yourself. (Either by Mail , WhatsApp etc)
3. Open the link in Safari on the iOS device and click on install.
Method # 4 – iTools
As we’ve mentioned earlier that iTools is probably the best alternative to iTunes, and the tutorial to install apps on iPhone is very similar to the one we used for backing-up /extract ipa files of iPhone/iPod apps.
Connect your phone to computer and launch iTools,
After connecting your phone & launching iTools go to the “Applications” tab on the left hand side.
Now, click on the “Install” button.
Select the ipa file which you want to install, and click on Open.
That’s it your app will be installed successfully!
